Dr. Shangraw is a proud Oregon native. After attending medical school at OHSU, she completed her dermatology training at the University of Colorado, where she served as Chief Resident. After residency, she practiced in Denver for two years at Kaiser Permanente. She is delighted to move back to Oregon to teach dermatology residents and care for her fellow Oregonians. She is honored to serve as program director of the Frontier Dermatology Residency Program.

Dr. Shangraw is particularly interested in dermatology education, access to dermatologic care, rural dermatology, women’s health, hair loss, inflammatory skin disease (hidradenitis, acne/rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, etc.), skin cancer detection, and skin surgery.
