Dr. Lyons is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical dermatology care for patients of all ages. She specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and skin cancer. Dr. Lyons is known for her patient-centered, practical approach, focusing on clear communication and individualized treatment plans to support long-term skin health.
Originally from Eastern Washington, Dr. Lyons earned her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University before attending the University of Washington School of Medicine on a military scholarship. She completed her internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, followed by her dermatology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
As an Army dermatologist, she provided care for active duty and retired service members and their families in Seoul, South Korea and Hawaii. She moved to Bellingham in 2010, where she practiced for 15 years before joining Frontier Dermatology in 2026.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lyons enjoys spending time with her husband and children, gardening, hiking, and traveling. She is also passionate about supporting food security and volunteers at the Bellingham Food Bank.
