Amanda L. Turner, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Associate specializing in medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, skin cancer detection, and chronic skin disease management. With more than eight years of dermatology experience, she provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, treating a wide range of skin conditions while emphasizing education, prevention, and personalized treatment plans.

Raised in north-central Idaho, Amanda developed a strong work ethic and compassionate approach to care through her upbringing on a family farm and ranch. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Idaho and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to joining Frontier Dermatology, she practiced dermatology in Idaho for more than eight years, gaining extensive experience in diagnosing and treating both common and complex skin conditions.

Amanda is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier skin through evidence-based dermatologic care. She believes successful treatment begins with listening to patients, understanding their concerns, and developing realistic treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle. Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate care to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their dermatology journey.

She provides evaluation and treatment for a variety of conditions, including skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, warts, precancerous lesions, and other inflammatory skin diseases. She also performs skin cancer screenings, biopsies, surgical excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures.

Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys traveling, attending concerts, swimming, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud dog mom and enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest.
