Originally from Kansas City, Dr. Runion earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado State University. She then gained valuable clinical experience working as a scribe in a family medicine clinic in Washington State for three years, deepening her commitment to medicine and patient advocacy.
Dr. Runion went on to graduate from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado, where she developed a strong foundation in holistic and patient-centered care. She completed her internship at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia, further broadening her clinical expertise.
