Dr. Farrer is a dermatologist with a passion for providing comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology care. Raised in a small coastal town in Maine, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before completing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University in Boston.
He received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the osteopathic medical honor society in recognition of his academic achievement.
Dr. Farrer provides care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions and enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. His clinical interests include skin cancer prevention, skin cancer screenings, early detection and diagnosis of skin cancer, and skin cancer treatment, as well as the evaluation and management of common and complex dermatologic conditions.
Prior to beginning his medical training, Dr. Farrer lived in Busan, South Korea. He remains proficient in Korean and values the opportunity to provide thoughtful, patient-centered dermatologic care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
