Dr. Scott Isenhath specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction following skin cancer treatment. He combines extensive surgical experience with a compassionate, thoughtful approach, helping patients navigate their diagnosis with greater understanding and confidence. His care focuses on treating skin cancer while preserving healthy tissue, function, and natural appearance.
Before joining Frontier Dermatology, Dr. Isenhath spent more than 15 years at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, caring for patients throughout Western Washington and performing more than 1,000 Mohs procedures annually. He understands that a skin cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming and takes pride in guiding patients through each stage of care—from understanding their treatment options to surgery and reconstruction. He approaches each procedure with careful attention to both the patient’s medical needs and the personal concerns that accompany treatment.
Dr. Isenhath’s commitment to dermatology extends beyond his surgical practice. He has served as president of both the Seattle Dermatologic Society and the Washington State Dermatology Association and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Washington. He has also been recognized as a Top Doctor by Seattle Met and Seattle Magazine for multiple consecutive years.
Having grown up in Kenmore, Dr. Isenhath values the opportunity to care for patients in the community that helped shape him. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, twin daughters, and son.
“I want every patient to understand their diagnosis, feel comfortable asking questions, and have confidence in their treatment plan. Treating skin cancer is a responsibility I take personally, and I strive to earn each patient’s trust through clear communication, thoughtful care, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is to help patients feel informed and supported throughout treatment while working toward the best possible outcome for their health, function, and appearance. I’m grateful to be part of a team that shares a commitment to making this an exceptional place to give and receive care.”
