Heather Mahurin, MD, FAAD, is a dermatologist at Frontier Dermatology providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. A native of Edmonds, Washington, Dr. Mahurin earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Central Washington University before receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her transitional year internship at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and her dermatology residency at the University of Washington, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Mahurin is committed to helping patients achieve healthier skin and greater confidence through thoughtful, individualized dermatology care. She has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and presented her work at both local and national conferences. Her approach emphasizes listening to each patient’s concerns and developing personalized care plans based on their individual skin health needs.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Mahurin enjoys traveling, baking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and dog.
