Bio

Dr. Johnston is a born-and-raised Pacific Northwesterner from Spokane, WA. She attended Whitworth University in Spokane where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and two minors in Criminal Justice Sociology and Chemistry. Prior to medical school, Dr. Johnston was a waitress for over 7 years at a local Italian restaurant; she carries her skills from the restaurant industry into her career in medicine and patient care. 

Dr. Johnston remained close to home for medical school and received her doctorate from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA prior to completing her internship at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Dr. Johnston has a fervent love for all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, cosmetic, and dermatopathology. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications in these various fields. Dr. Johnston strives to be a well-rounded dermatologist in order to provide excellent patient-centered care in her community.
