Angela Mercer, PA-C, is an experienced dermatology provider with more than 20 years of experience as a physician assistant and 14 years specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier skin through personalized, evidence-based care and comprehensive treatment plans.
Angela provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and pigmented lesions. She also performs thorough skin cancer screenings and evaluations to help detect skin cancer at its earliest stages. In addition to medical dermatology, Angela offers cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and sclerotherapy.
Prior to her career in dermatology, Angela worked at Mayo Clinic in Liver and Kidney Transplant Surgery, where she served as a team lead for seven advanced practice clinicians. She later gained valuable experience in Emergency Medicine before transitioning to dermatology, where she has spent the last 14 years caring for patients. Most recently, Angela practiced at a dermatology clinic serving communities along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
