Bio

Dr. Maria Amoreth Gozo, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist who provides patient-centered, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She has a special clinical interest in skin of color, procedural dermatology, and laser treatments, helping patients achieve healthier skin with advanced, personalized solutions.

Dr. Gozo earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA, followed by her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, before serving in the U.S. Navy as a General Medical Officer. She provided primary care at Naval Hospital Pensacola and later served as Senior Medical Officer and Department Head of Health Services onboard the USS Anchorage (LPD-23) in San Diego, CA. She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Washington.

With a strong commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Gozo takes a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to dermatologic care. She is dedicated to empowering patients through education, shared decision-making, and personalized treatment plans—striving for outcomes that enhance both skin health and overall confidence.

Dr. Gozo enjoys traveling, hiking, crafting, and exploring new restaurants, as well as spending quality time with her husband, family, and dog.
